I recently purchased a Taurus PT111 G2 as my first handgun, and while it was a great firearm out of the box, I quickly realized that there were some upgrades that could greatly enhance its performance. After doing some research and talking to experienced gun owners, I decided to invest in some upgrades for my PT111 G2.
The first upgrade I made was swapping out the stock trigger with an upgraded trigger kit. The stock trigger had a long and heavy pull, making it difficult to shoot accurately and quickly. With the upgraded trigger, the pull weight was reduced and the reset was much shorter, resulting in improved accuracy and faster follow-up shots. It also greatly enhanced my overall shooting experience.
Another necessary upgrade for me was changing out the sights on my PT111 G2. The stock sights were small and difficult to see in low light conditions. I opted for a set of night sights which made a world of difference in terms of target acquisition and accuracy in low light situations. It also added an extra level of safety for home defense scenarios.
