Why I Believe Lego Star Wars Jawa is Necessary

As a lifelong fan of both Lego and Star Wars, I have always been drawn to the unique characters and creatures that populate the galaxy far, far away. And when it comes to the miniature world of Lego, one character stands out above the rest for me – the Jawa.

At first glance, the Jawa may seem like a minor and insignificant character in the vast Star Wars universe. But as any true fan knows, they play a crucial role in the original trilogy, specifically in A New Hope. Without their capture and sale of R2-D2 and C-3PO to Luke Skywalker’s uncle, the entire storyline would have been drastically altered.

But beyond their importance to the plot, Jawa minifigures also add a unique element of nostalgia for fans. They are one of the earliest characters introduced in A New Hope and their iconic hooded robes and glowing yellow eyes are instantly recognizable. As a collector of Lego minifigures, having a Jawa among my collection brings back fond memories of watching Star Wars for the first time.

Furthermore, Lego Star Wars sets featuring Jawas allow for endless imaginative play possibilities. From scavenging for droids on Tatooine

My Buying Guide on ‘Lego Star Wars Jawa’

Hello fellow Lego and Star Wars enthusiasts! As a big fan of both, I have recently added the Lego Star Wars Jawa set to my collection. If you’re considering purchasing this set, here’s my buying guide to help you make the best decision.

1. Know the Set

The Lego Star Wars Jawa set (number 75198) was released in 2018 as part of the Solo: A Star Wars Story line. It consists of 123 pieces and includes two minifigures – a Jawa and a Tusken Raider – along with a buildable vehicle called the ‘Jawa Speeder’.

2. Consider Your Budget

The current retail price for this set is around $19.99 USD, which is relatively affordable compared to other Lego sets. However, if you’re on a tight budget, you can also look for discounted prices or second-hand options.

3. Check the Minifigures

The main draw of this set are the two minifigures included – the Jawa and Tusken Raider. Both are unique to this set and have detailed printing on their torsos and legs. The Jawa also comes with a blaster while the Tusken Raider has a gaderffii stick accessory.

4. Examine the Build

The build for this set is relatively simple and straightforward, but still provides an enjoyable building experience. The Jawa Speeder is small but well-designed, with movable flaps and an adjustable cockpit for playability.

5. Consider Playability

This set may not have as many features as other larger sets, but it still offers playability with its movable parts and minifigures that can be placed on or inside the vehicle. It can also be combined with other sets to create bigger scenes or battles.

6. Think About Display Value

If you’re someone who likes to display your Lego sets, the Lego Star Wars Jawa may not be the most eye-catching option due to its smaller size. However, it can still make for a cute addition to any Star Wars shelf or display case.

7. Check Reviews

If you’re still unsure about purchasing this set, I suggest checking out online reviews from other buyers or watching video reviews on YouTube to get a better understanding of its quality and value.
